You're not alone! We all can feel intimidated or scared to try something new. We opened BODYHOO Studios because we believe that moving is vital to a vibrant joyful life, and wanted to create a space that didn't feel like a typical fitness studio. Our goal is to cultivate a welcoming environment to come as you are, and to move & grow stronger together!
At BODYHOO Studios, we recommend booking in advance to reserve your spot as we have limited spaces. Create a login on our website and select your desired package, then check our class schedule and reserve your spot in your desired class! Please call or email if you have any difficulty or questions with the booking process!
• Students must be in their assigned class no later than 10 minutes after the start time. No student will be permitted to join after this time and will forfeit payment for that class.
• We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you have a class package and late cancel within 24 hours prior to your class start time, you will lose the credit from your package. If you paid for a single class and late cancel within 24 hours prior to your class start time, you will not be reimbursed for the class cost.
• Students with an Unlimited 30 Day Yoga/Mat package who late cancel within 24 hours prior to their class start time, or do not show, will be charged $15+tax.
We request clearance from your medical professional before returning to exercise after a major injury or surgery. When you're ready to return to exercise, our instructors have decades of experience of rehabilitating people in their recovery. If you have a minor injury, or any pain, we are able to make modifications to allow you to move while staying safe and strong!
Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness through controlled movements and breathwork. At BODYHOO Studios, Pilates is integrated into our fitness programs to help clients improve posture, balance, and muscle tone while reducing the risk of injury. Our experienced instructors tailor Pilates sessions to all fitness levels within an inclusive and supportive environment, ensuring that everyone can benefit from this mindful practice as part of their path to better health and wellness.
Pilates Mat classes focus on exercises using your body weight to build core strength, flexibility, and balance. Pilates Machine classes utilize specialized equipment, such as the Reformer or Tower, which provides resistance through weighted springs. This allows for more support for alignment and muscle engagement. Both class types are designed to promote strength, mobility, and overall well-being within our supportive and inclusive environment.
Pilates Reformer is a dynamic machine designed to move with your body. This class will give you a fun and challenging resistance work out yielding a revitalized and strong sense of self. This class is great for building muscle strength, coordination, and bone health.
Pilates Tower facilitates a wide range of resistance points which keep you aligned while stretching and traction your body. This class is like a Yoga/Pilates Mat class with resistance, and is perfect for realignment, flexibility, stress relief.
Pilates Cardio Reformer utilizes a jump board to add an invigorating HIIT element to your workout. Jumping sequences are combined with resistance exercises in an interval style to facilitate healthy heart function and improve muscle tone and strength. Jump Board is high intensity while being kind to your joints. So you'll get all the benefit of cardio while feeling safe and confident!
Our signature class is BODYHOO Yoga flow, which is a fun and invigorating challenge to your practice. BODYHOO Flow opens with a series of Yoga postures and Pilates exercises to deepen core strength and release muscle tension. Then we move through an energized series of Yoga poses to harmonize your mind body connection, focusing on breath, core muscles, and dynamic stretching.
Morning Mantra flow builds upon Surya Namaskar in a series of invigorating poses focusing on breath, body, and boldness. This class is a physical meditation which invites students to move with pure intention while challenging the core and increasing flexibility.
Restorative Moon flow opens with a meditation followed by Chandra Namaskar/Moon Salutation, and ends with a series of Yin/Restorative postures. The Moon Namaskar poses focus on breath, physical strength and emotional clarity. During the Yin/Restorative postures pillows, blankets, and blocks are used to allow for release of tension and deeper passive stretching of the muscles.
